This is the website of the Catholic Parish of Aberystwyth. The parish serves the needs of the Catholic community of north Ceredigion and has two churches: Welsh Martyrs in Penparcau, Aberystwyth, and Holy Cross in Aberaeron. The clergy also serve the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Lampeter. The parish priest undertakes the role of Catholic chaplain to Bronglais Hospital and Aberystwyth University.
Our mission is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, alive and risen today, to worship in faith the living and loving God, and to make his love present in this beautiful part of the world.
Maybe it's been a long time since you last came to church, or maybe you've never been inside a Catholic church - if this is you, you are particularly welcome among us. We look forward to welcoming you very soon!
Below is our LIVE webcam from Welsh Martyrs Church, which you can tune in to at any time of the day or night for Masses, services or for prayer - please pray for our parish! (For the best viewing aspect open in full screen.)
